LETS ELECT...NO LETS APPOINT....NO LETS ELECT

Gears move on possibly naming Kennedy replacement

Before he died last week, Kennedy had asked Massachusetts lawmakers to change state law to let the governor name an interim appointee to serve until voters can choose a permanent replacement. Current Massachusetts law does not allow an interim appointee.
The Senator may be gone, but politics in Massachusetts goes on as usual. First they change the law when Senator Kerry ran for president, now lets change it back and leave it as an appointment.
Gov. Patrick, a Democrat and friend of Obama's, had previously expressed support for the change. He declined to say whom he might name as interim senator.
Looks to me as they just might want to put in place a Democrat for the all important Obama Care Vote....

  1. The politics of the ObamaNation are gloves-off dirty. There is no longer any pretense at civil conduct.
