More Obamacare Postponements............

Parts of ObamaCare are starting to fray, even before full implementation.
The Obama administration now says a special system of exchanges designed to make it easier for small businesses to provide insurance will be delayed an entire year -- to 2015.
"Lots of small businesses struggle with providing insurance for their workers so this was supposed to facilitate it and make it easier for small business to do this," said Jim Capretta of the Ethics and Public Policy Center. "It was a huge portion of the sale job. When they passed the law in 2010 there were many senators and members of Congress who were saying 'I am doing this because it's going to help small businesses.'"

Sorry, could not allow this to pass without a comment or two.  I will update those who might be finding me and my little blog for the first time.
I, along with my husband, have been running a small family business, built by us and not the government, for over 35 years.  We are in our fourth generation, 67th year, our youngest son just became owner/president and most likely the last.
We are skilled labor and have dealt with large and small industrial accounts, mostly gone now as industrial and manufacturing is not a priority in our country anymore. Many companies have moved abroad as it is too costly to run a business in America, sad.
We teach and we pay benefits.  OSHA rules and regulations are now so stringent that no one can keep up with them, let alone implement or understand them.  Not all wilder beast make it to the watering hole. The lawyers are now in charge along with SCOTUS.
Today the new Obamacare law is more unpopular as ever with more against it than for it. Yesterday the President made it known that we, the small business owner will not need to worry about our responsibility of implementing the Obamacare program till the year 2015, why?  Seems that the government again does not know how to manage still another burdensome law and sees fit to wait till AFTER the mid-term election in 2014 to a tempt to............oh!
We at my company for many years paid 100% of our employees healthcare without the government telling us we had to! Today we pay 50% of our employees healthcare without the government telling us we have to.  And, oh yes, our home base is located in Massachusetts, not one of those 'right to work states' and the mother of socialized healthcare, Democratic majority and ruled along with the unions.

  1. Since the government built your business... you shouldn't mind contributing more to the eaters of other men's bread? (yes I'm joking)
