Four Officers and Gentlemen...............

Du Haiying, a 9-year-old orphan in Buyei and Miao autonomous prefecture in Southwest China' Guizhou province, has four police officers who take care of her, May 15, 2012. Du calls them her fathers, as they have been looking after her for three years, subsidizing her studies and repairing her house. Du's parents passed away when she was little and left her with a 78-year-old grandfather and a makeshift house. She met Tian Weichun, an officer at the local traffic police brigade, in 2009 and began receiving his help. Tian invited his three colleagues to help take care of Du.
