Madison – Republicans held onto control of the Wisconsin Senate on Tuesday, defeating four Democratic challengers in a recall election despite an intense political backlash against GOP support for Gov. Scott Walker's effort to curb public employees' union rights.Fueled by millions of dollars from national labor groups, the attempt to remove GOP incumbents served as both a referendum on Walker's conservative revolution and could provide a new gauge of the public mood less than a year after Republicans made sweeping gains in this state and many others.
My Mother, God love her, always said " If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"..... I say.... Sorry Mom!

Way to Go Wisconsin!
Reality is probably setting in right about now. We do not need unions to tell people how to vote or demand what wage to pay, a free and competitive market place will do that. Unions were great and had a purpose when started but today with all regulations, government departments, and government rules and laws, they are obsolete and only make money for the union heads. Let's move forward and try to start to restore America and allow private industry to create the good paying jobs that our people need. Years ago private industry was able to compete with not only a decent wage, but with health care, sick and vacation time as a total package before the government stepped in and mandated changes. We can work with our employees on a one to one basis and we also have high standards to achieve without the government to tell us to.
