Mass. coal plants affected by EPA proposal

The owner of the Salem Harbor Power Station in Salem, Mass. — Dominion Resources Inc. (NYSE:D) — recently said the expected EPA regulations were among the reasons for the planned closure of the coal- and oil-burning plant in mid-2014.

No coal, no oil, no gas, no nuclear,  and yes, we still have the sun.............now everyone back to the cave

The standards, the EPA said, “will provide a first-ever level playing field for all power plants across the country, ensure that they play by the same rules, and provide more certainty to business.”

Rules are rules and jobs are jobs, business is moving and closing the doors.
