Study links Mass. job losses to HQ decline

Massachusetts lost 250,000 jobs from 1990 through 2007 due to closures and job losses affecting local businesses with headquarters in the Bay State, according to a new study from Pioneer Institute.

  1. Why would any company put its HQ in Mass? Or, for that matter in NY or NJ? They, along with Cal. and a few others are the most expensive and difficult places to do business in the country. Duh! Only knuckleheads and liberals don't get this.
