Americans have always gone out of their way to help in any disaster zone anywhere in the world. I do not remember the case when we have gotten aid back, whatever. We have helped with our money and with our military and with people volunteering in groups and on their own.
That is why the article in the British press pist me off to no end. Maybe Ms Linda Polman you could think again and if you can not say anything nice and helpful: shut up and start digging!
