More taxes and insurance hikes for the rich........in England

The biggest measure in today’s pre-budget report was the plan to raise rates of national insurance for those earning over £20,000. The increase, which the Tories called a tax on employment, will raise around £3 billion in 2011-12.
Labour are keen to suggest that the measures are taxing the rich - stressing over half of the tax rises under Alistair Darling have been levied on the richest 2 per cent. In fact, the National Insurance change will hit everyone earning over £20,000 - less than average earnings - and the public sector pay cap will also hit low earners.

To my point, once a government, any government, has control of your life, liberty, or health issues
you might as well just quit your job and let the government rule your world.  Just step in line, nothing to see here, move along..............
