Man's Finger Bitten Off in Scuffle at Health Care Rally

The finger-biting incident occurred after a member of the group protesting health care reform, William Rice, 65, of Newbury Park, became involved in a heated discussion with a member of Code Pink, sheriff’s Capt. Ross Bonfiglio said. A man from Moveon.org’s area then walked over to the opponents and verbally confronted Rice, allegedly calling him names and acting aggressively, Bonfiglio said.
Mr Rice appeared on Neal Cavuto's show and was asked the question " if he new that day that this terrible incident was going to happen, would you have gone?" His reply "Yes because freedom is not free" Those of us who show up at these town hall meetings are not paid and we are not organized, but through word of mouth. We see what is happening in this once great country and we feel we must be seen and heard. We will not be bullied and we will not just stay home. Nor will we stay in hiding our out of the way.
