Today in the (what is left of) work place we have more rules and regulations of safety per OSHA. We now have to label all ladders. We now have smoke detectors in homes and factories...........
Hard hats, helmets, lanyards. steel toe boots, fall protection, safety glasses, all mandated by law.
“More workers joined the federal government’s disability program in
June than got new jobs, according to two new government reports, a clear
indicator of how bleak the nation’s jobs picture is after three full
years of economic recovery. The economy created just 80,000 jobs in
June, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. But that same
month, 85,000 workers left the workforce entirely to enroll in the
Social Security Disability Insurance program, according to the Social
Security Administration.”
What is happening with all these disability claims? As with food stamps and workman's comp. claims, these too are all legitimate???? How are the remaining working class (that would include me from the age of 16) carry the load and support those not working????
This situation is simply unsustainable!
