Hold the Pickle..................

     All good things must come to an end, including promises met by the money taken from others. 
Today in my town a new business has just gone thru the permitting process (check writing process) and will open with jobs for the community.  It is a new McDonald's which will stand in line next to the Wendy's, Taco Bell, and Burger King.  Actually, come to think of it, I am old enough to remember when that whole strip of highway was farm land.  Progress and good paying jobs, not in this case, just another highway lined with fast and not so good food, run by big business.  I bet where ever you are in the country you have the same story of empty factories, gone farms and no more family businesses.  If you do have a few dollars and want to chance getting your order right, burgers and fries you can find.
