Obama campaign names 35 national co-chairs

President Barack Obama's re-election campaign has named 35 national co-chairs, including elected officials, campaign volunteers and a few celebrities.
Among the Democratic politicians serving as co-chairs are Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin. Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee, a Republican-turned-Independent, will also serve as a co-chair.

Maybe I am wrong, but were not these elected governors elected to govern the states they were elected in?
While I did not vote for Gov. Patrick, I am still paying his salary and would really appreciate all his efforts and concerns and time to be focused on his state and not getting this president re-elected. Let the concentration be put on getting jobs back to Massachusetts.  Maybe also this president could choose an out of work citizen and pay him............gets employment numbers down and also lets the governors get back to the work of the state!

On Deval Patrick’s watch, six-figure salaries spike
