Peabody plant pays $112,500 to settle claim of discrimination

In addition to the monetary damages, the settlement stipulates that the plant pay for Tracchia to receive four years of training. After that time, if she is still an employee in good standing, she would be the most qualified employee for the junior engineering aide II position at the plant. Currently, Tracchia's position at the plant is junior engineering aide I. Waters would not say if Tracchia has received the training specified in the settlement.
