Obama Official: GOP Budget Would Kill 70,000 Kids

No one wants kids to die or all programs to be cut.  We are looking for cuts and some programs will have to be considered.  This is not because we hate kids and all programs.  This is because we love America and we are out of money and we have to cut.  It is very easy to giveth and hard as hell to taketh away.  We personally are working for less and are not the only family that has had to cut costs to survive this great recession that is not even over yet in our area.  The jobs that were and that collected the taxes are gone or have been replaced with lower paying jobs.

House Republicans offered delayed outrage to President Obama's point man on U.S. development and humanitarian missions, who testified before Congress this week that a budget plan House Republicans passed last month would lead to 70,000 kids dying.
USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah told the House Appropriations State and Foreign Ops subcommittee on Wednesday that the budget plan, which would cut $61 billion in federal spending, would lead to the deaths of 30,000 kids in a malaria control program that would have to be scaled back, 24,000 from a lack of immunizations and 16,000 from a lack of skilled attendants at birth.
It is a fact that Rotary International has been working around the world to eradicate polio.   Who is Rotary?  Businessmen and women in the community that give of their time and their money.  Let's keep these organizations going to pick up the slack of these many 'non-profit' who always have their hands out to the government for funds.

  1. how many have already died as a result of lack of funds because the politicians did not budget for them or because of wars?
we can't help everyone only those that our budget allows us to.

  2. Obama wants to lead America to a place that is alike to a 3rd world nation. And until he does, he won't be happy. Or stop.
