China Bank Moves to Buy U.S. Branches

If you still do not believe our country is in trouble, please think.  Why has China been buying our debt?

Why is China now buying our banks and why are the politicians in this country, who have been in office way to long, not seeing or understanding the consequences in years to come.  Because we are broke can anyone come in, like jumping a fence, and buy us up, own us, then only to dictate to us because they own the deed?  I seem to remember a time when France and Mexico did own parts of these now united states, long before our own government initiated it's own property grabs from citizens.
I am just saying, we the people have no clue what is really happening behind the scenes until we are informed of it.  Don't think our country can remain, if it even is, the strongest and most powerful nation if it keeps getting sold and worse bought....  We need to take better care and not think the problems are going to be solved merely by  politicians sitting side by side at a made for TV event.........

CHICAGO—China's biggest bank signed an agreement that would make it the first Beijing-controlled financial institution to acquire retail bank branches in the U.S., though regulators could still block the deal.
Under the deal, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Ltd., by some measures the world's largest bank, agreed to acquire a majority stake in Bank of East Asia Ltd.'s U.S. subsidiary. The price tag was not disclosed but people familiar with the matter said it was about $100 million. Bank of East Asia, which is privately held and based in Hong Kong, has a total of 13 branches in New York and California. ICBC and Bank of East Asia have talked to U.S. regulators about the deal, these people said.
