He said the Government would continue negotiating with Pakistan until it is happy with assurances that suspects deported there would not be tortured. Meanwhile, he said, the pair would be “kept under surveillance … in a manner that means they cannot do harm to the British people”.
It is a different time and a different world and even the Brits are not too happy with immigration and what to do about terror suspects.
