The patriots are throwbacks to the bad old days

The tea party is coming to Boston today on its last leg to complete the journey in Washington DC tomorrow on tax day.  I decided to check out ALL channels this morning to see how this rally would play in one of the most liberal spots in America.  Well most of the coverage was on the fact that Sarah was coming and that she makes lots of money.  Another TV stations was saying that an anti-tea party protest was to happen and this will keep people away. I am not the biggest fan of Sarah Palin, but I am of the tea party movement and have gone to many rallies and town hall meetings.  The article to follow got my attention and the only comment about it is that the writer did not go back far enough in time.....he should have referenced the 1700 and not 1960's !  I am still planning on leaving work early and heading to Boston.

It was the ageless rock ‘n’ roller, Little Richard, who once reminded me: “There ain’t nothin’ new under the sun.”
And so it is with the legions of recycled Tea Party patriots, who’ll gather on Boston Common this morning to raise a fist against that yoke of government tyranny that just keeps on keeping on.
I’ve seen this movie before. And so have you.

  1. They don't want to reference the 1700s because it's educational.
