competitive wages huh?
ReplyDeleteas far as i'm concerned no government job should pay more than the private sector is willing to pay. in fact, i'd advocate that every government job pay at least 25% less than could be gotten in private sector.
For the life of me, I can't understand why there is such a wide spread, about 100% difference, between the public salary and that of one in the private sector for a "broadcast technician!"

to make it even more difficult to compete, you must price according to union rules even when you are not union....where is the true competition?
