More Republicians have been seen in Massachusetts

Tsongas' GOP opponents: Health care a 'big problem'

BOSTON -- After running unopposed in 2008, U.S. Rep. Niki Tsongas will not enjoy the same luxury this November, with Republicans and unenrolled candidates literally lining up to take her on.
Seven months before the election, there is a list of challengers. And it's long.
Twelve potential candidates have taken out nomination papers to run against Tsongas, including nine Republicans and three independents. The 5th Congressional District has drawn more interest than any other in the state, but not by much.

  1. I don't know how embedded these career politicians are. Barney Frank clearly could be categorized as a career politician (and it's about the kindest thing I have to say about him.

Massachusetts did send Scott Brown to the Senate and it should communicate a strong signal to all Democrats that the PEOPLE really want more accountable government, are OPPOSED to the policies of the barack hussein obama administration and that national socialism is not the style of government we want to see in America
