In a policy statement released today, the group is also asking the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to establish a nationwide food related choking-incidence surveillance and reporting system “to warn the public of existing and emerging hazards.”
Please, please, lets keep our attentions on our kids so the government does not have to.

I just heard some twit on the radio say that hot dogs should be re-designed to prevent children from choking on them. Perhaps parents teaching their kids not to bite off 1/2 of the hot dog in one gulp? (I actually saw this happen. The kid was egged on by his dad.)
