My Mother, God love her, always said " If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"..... I say.... Sorry Mom!

Do you remember when clothespins were a tool and not just a crafting item?
I remember when I was a child and one of my helps to my Mom would be 'taking the clothes off the line'. Nothing smells better than clothing and sheets that were line dried.
I can even remember on an occasion when the clothes would actually FREEZE and the laughs we would have seeing the line full of frozen undies and socks.
I would also find it hard to believe that in this day and age and all the talk of conserving energy that hanging your laundry out to dry would be
AGAINST THE LAW IN ANY OF THESE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

I remember those days as well, and do find it odd that the greenies insist you take your own used grocery tote bags to the store, but aren't totally on board the clothes line issue.
ReplyDeleteGo figure.
brother, who'd ever think that would be an issue necessitating a law to solve.
