In my neighborhood I have seen many auction signs on both home and businesses alike the past three years. I do not want anyone to lose their home. When the super-rich have problems and are no longer the super-rich, that only means that the tax burden falls to the not so super-rich...those 'lucky' enough to make under $250.000.00.
So don't laugh and walk away whistling because when the government spews that only the rich will be taxed more, they could just be speaking of you! The meaning of rich will soon be anyone still in a home and with a job.
